The SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Senior Coordinator will support the creation, execution and optimization of media campaigns. The Senior Coordinator will work under the direction of senior SEM resources and utilize enterprise level tools to execute local, regional and national campaigns. The Senior Coordinator will utilize strong technical, analytical and marketing skills to quickly acquire the skill set necessary to fully manage SEM campaigns.

Position duties

  • Works with SEM Analysts and Strategists to implement SEM campaigns for Search Optics clients.
  • Creates keywords, ads, tracking, bidding and optimization for client accounts
  • Develops proficiency in SEM budget management
  • Works with account managers to insure client needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Introduced to quality and advanced optimization techniques and strategies

Position requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 1+ years of SEM experience creating, optimizing, and managing AdWords accounts
  • Basic understanding of digital media analytics is required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time effectively
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail and quality
  • Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Previous employment experience in an agency or client setting is preferred but not required
  • AdWords certification is strongly preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese is a plus

 

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor, environmentally controlled conditions
  • In contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise) frequently, including working in teams
  • Perform job tasks in slightly close physical proximity to other people

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Remain in the seated position, in front of a computer, for extensive periods of time
  • The ability to listen and to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Perform work using computers and electronic devices
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Lift an object between approximately 10 and 25 pounds
  • Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Travel at a minimum of 10% of the time, which includes driving rental vehicles and flying on commercial airplanes
